The Tift County Choral Department proudly supports four competitive show choirs with members ranging from 7th grade to 12th grade. In addition to competing, the groups perform at numerous local events throughout the year.
Our youngest show choir group, One Voice, is directed by Mrs. Pam McClellan and Ms. Danyale Holloway consisting of students in grades 7-8. The group's shows are choreographed by Mr. J.J. Jackson.
Tiftosterone, directed by Mr. Scott Rains and Mr. Kyle Robinson, is our newest show choir at the high school. The group consists only of guys in grades 9-12. Mike Weaver and Jamie McMahon are both choreographers for this group.
The high school has two additional competitive show choirs, Ladies Choice and Eighth Street Singing Company, both directed by Mr. Scott Rains and Mr. Kyle Robinson. Ladies Choice, the all-female show choir consists of young ladies in grades 9-12 and is choreographed by Jamie McMahon. Eighth Street Singing Company is a large mixed group consisting of males and females in grades 9-12 and is choreographed by Mike Weaver.
In addition, Tiftosterone, Ladies Choice, and Eighth Street Singing Company are supported by a live band as well as a stage/tech crew.
